FORest PEATtland ecosystem assessment and targeted management for enhanced carbon sequestration, biodiversity and water quality.
What it involves
ForPeat will promote scientific approaches to optimize the management of forest peatlands. The project will present innovative and sustainable forestry practices, as well as nature restoration objectives for peat soils, focusing on rewetting and water conservation techniques.
