About the project

Anticipating Climate to Defend Hydrographic Units (ACDUHA): the project has supported the natural defenses of different hydrographic basins in Spain through the development and prediction of Hazard Indices according to climate projections for the coming decades.

Objectives

In this way, a correct risk assessment allows the implementation of adaptive measures to improve the preservation of soils and forests in watersheds in the face of the dangers derived from increased evapotranspiration, associated erosion, increased risk of forest fires, among others.
